...in the July 2011 issue of "Real Simple Magazine" there was a little submission by a reader in regards to this question:
Q  Where is the best place you've ever gone on vacation? 
         < San Francisco has more physical beauty than almost any other city I can name: The hills, the ocean, and the bay views make up a stunning landscape, and the architecture -- especially the Victorian gingerbread houses -- provide endless delights.  In 2003 I was lucky enough to pay a visit during the annual Bay to Breakers race, a seven-plus-mile run.  It's a must see: By tradition, the competitors don elaborate and hilarious costumes.  I saw one participant dressed as a tiki bar, another as a Viking ship.

Wish us safe travels as we are O'Hare bound TODAY from our San Fran vacay.  Our departure time from San Francisco is 4:35 p.m. & our arrival time in Chicago is after 10 tonight due to the time change.  In the very early hours of the morning we will be thinking, "There's no place like HOME!" :) Plenty of pictures & updates coming SOON...
