A Little Secret...

...that I don't mind letting you all in on is that... I LOVE me some B-I-N-G-O! That's right, you read it here, first! I have only been twice in my life but it was practically love at first sight.  Basically, the nitty gritty is that most of my co-workers enjoy having a drink or two & since Nathan & I don't drink, we have a hard time socializing with others who do like to 'go out' - - sometimes.  My co-workers enjoy meeting each other out & about on the weekends at a local bar or catch a band, etc. SURE, I don't mind hanging out with them but it's just not that much fun.  There, I said it. I admitted it.  It's fun for awhile but how long do you want to watch people drink, get toasted, & then split for the night.  Obviously this is bar-behavior, in general, & I'm not talking much about my co-workers at this point!! SO >>>> last year I was introduced to the old-school game of B-I-N-G-O at the Moose Lodge in Charleston with a lot of staff members from Sullivan Schools.  What I love about it is that even though I don't drink, it's an activity that everyone can enjoy - - no matter what.  Heck, the more they drink, the greater my chances of winning since they're bound to miss a number or two, Ha! The girls sit & chit chat because we can do multiple things at once (like check 12 cards at a time) while the guys are a little more quiet & just play the game.  It's a tradition that IF you win, you can take your picture WITH the Moose.  I was so excited to win $50.00 & my co-worker, Deena, also won.  We enjoyed our very first pictures with "THE MOOSE."  *I do see how this game could be addicting and so I choose to go once in awhile.  I'm not advocating for or against gambling as I do want to use the money that God's blessed our family with in a responsible way.*
