It is obvious that the end of Summer is upon us each year when the Illinois State Fair begins. Typically, school starts within a couple days of the fair opening. This year, my cousin Lisa & her family made the journey to Springfield & her son, Cole, showed his sheep. (Say that 10x fast! ;) We enjoyed watching him show, seeing a lot of family, & petting the animals. It was the "Unofficial Start" of the Fair so there was no Admission fee, there was a Parade to watch, & even Free Parking. You can't beat that! We had a great time & hope to make this an Annual event.
