DISNEY Part 1: Naming Baby Girl

Since knowing we were going to be traveling to Disney World, I absolutely knew I wanted to purchase "Mickey Ears" with the kids' names on them.  Reddington's would be easy for obvious reasons.  Baby Girl's would be a bit more difficult since we've known all along that if she were to become a part of our "forever family," we would be changing her name. We continue to believe that she will become a part of our forever family.  A lot of different things have happened recently proving that there is a really good chance that Reddington will always be a big brother to this little girl. And we couldn't be happier.  So, Nathan & I talked quite a bit about what we would name her since I wanted to have the Minnie Ears done for her.
We have chosen this as her name should she become our forever daughter.  We have started to call her this, occasionally,  but it will take some getting used to!  Here are some more photos of our evening at the castle.  It was truly a magical, JOY-filled night!

Without further ado, our princess shall be named. . .

And we LOVE it!  I won't get into all of my "criteria" for naming a child, but I will say that one of the main reasons we agreed on this is because Nathan likes shortened names.  We both think that "MJ" is cute for a shortened/nickname.

"God sets the lonely in families..." Psalm 68:6

“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” James 1:27

“Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart."Psalm 37:4

"...and see if I wil not throw open the floodgates of heaven & pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it..." Malachi 3:10

"...He who began a good work will carry it on to completion."  Philippians 1:6

Lord, hear our prayer!

Well, what do you think?
