DISNEY: Part 3: Let The Memories Begin!

Our 2nd day in Orlando brought the most anticipation & excitement thus far. We would actually be heading to "Disney World" a.k.a The Magic Kingdom!  Little did we know, we would have perfect weather & be able to accomplish A LOT.  The kids were very well behaved & we had a memory-making day!  We were thrilled when a Magic Kingdom worker walked up to us & handed us 9 "Fast Passes" for anything in the park.  Basically, you can walk on any ride, see any show, or meet the Princesses or Mickey & Minnie without waiting a second in line.  We ended up using them during our 2 days there & were able to "spread them out" to maximize the uses. It was perfect! Our plan was to get a Fast Pass for a 1 ride and then wait in line to ride something else while waiting for the "Fast Pass" time to arrive.  So, essentially we were getting 2 for the price of 1 all day long. Perfection! *Be prepared for a HUGE picture overload!

Being pirates at the "Pirates of the Caribbean" ride

As part of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" experience, kids could enroll in a "Pirate class."  This boy below had his face painted & his eyes are actually closed.  They painted eyes on his eyelids.  Nathan thought this was so cool!

Silly faces!

Dumbo Ride

Reddington wanted to ride this roller coaster & did.  He was not too happy afterwards ;-)

We decided to stay open to close on our first day.  The kids did FABULOUS! They hung in there all day & were very well behaved.  We were so glad that we decided to just "go for it!"  We did not regret it one bit & were able to take in the entire Disney experience - - - and that was just Day 1 of 2 at The Magic Kingdom!

Next up in this series = DISNEY Part 4: A Lot of Crazy, A Little Rest
