(Buzz Lightyear Ride at Disney, June 2012)
Reddington is crazy about his Dad & his "two Papas!" When I mentioned a "Father's Day project" last week, he was VERY interested in participating. I sure love how he gets so excited about the littlest things in life. I hope that as he grows, he continues to not take things for granted & delights in the little day-to-day things. Since I had already purchased gift certificates to their favorite places, I just printed off cards for Reddington to draw & color on. Since I know he loves markers, I let him use those instead of crayons because it keeps him entertained longer & he had three cards to decorate. He enjoyed every minute of it & probably sat at the table for about 30 minutes. My BFF/Co-worker, Tara, printed off a cute little set of questions for me to ask him about Nathan. He definitely had some silly answers. I think Nathan will get a kick out of some of them.
My Dad's name is: "Five"
My Dad weights "Five" pounds.
He likes to go to "Mattoon."
For fun he likes to "ride Gravediggers."
When I asked him how tall Nathan was, he stretched out his arms as far as he could & said, "This big!"
:)
Redd also decided to hide one of the cards in a "secret spot" so that Papa Dave wouldn't see it before Father's Day. We sure are blessed to have amazing men in our lives.
Happy Father's Day to all!
