Nursery: Eclectic REVEAL

Check out the Nursery: INSPIRATION post found here.  The post will give you some background info on the bedroom & my vision.

I am thrilled to say that I am finally ready to reveal the nursery that I have been working on for Little Sister. It, too, has been a "labor of love." I consider my children's rooms to be this because of the hours I spend researching ideas, painting, & actually creating all of the diy ideas I want to place in the rooms.  Find my first "labor of love" makeover for Reddington here.  I smile every time we have a friend or visitor over & Reddington says, "Do you want to see my big boy room?"  He is so proud of it. I am thrilled that he has a space to call his own that he enjoys spending time in & showing off to guests.  I delight in creating their rooms because it is something that I enjoy doing & it is a way to celebrate my kids. I also know that I can create & do everything myself for pennies compared to the hundreds of dollars it would take to pull off a Pottery Barn or Anthropologie room that may look wonderful but does not have the unique & personal touches that I desire in my home.  My costs are typically paint, materials, fabric & lots of time.
*A lot of the details were listed in the inspiration post. If you have a question that I haven't addressed, feel free to leave a comment or email me.

Without further ado, I present to you Labor of Love: Part II Eclectic Nursery:

And, of course, the little Miss was nearby to oversee the finishing touches of her room & the Mister joined in on the action straight from his nap.  Thank you for stopping by. I can finally breathe a sigh of relief & relax that the Nursery is done. Did you hear me? After having Baby Girl for almost 4 months, the NURSERY IS COMPLETE. Now, let's celebrate!  {grin}
