Over 50 of my family & friends purchased Simply Love t-shirts to help support my Mission Trip to Ethiopia. I have LOVED seeing these photos of those in the "Simply Love Club." :) At the last minute, I decided to order Mickiyas a shirt, too. I'm really excited to get a picture of the both of us next June in our matching t-shirts. Now, THAT will be frame-worthy!
#1: This is a former student of mine. She had stopped by my classroom and we talked about the shirts. She decided she wanted to purchase a t-shirt!
#2: This is Nathan's Grandma. She text me this picture & said "It fits. Thanks!" How cute is she?!
#3: This one brings tears to my eyes. This is my blog friend, Carrie, & her two littles. She first commented on one of my posts about Foster Care a few months ago. She & her hubby are pursuing their Foster Care License in Nevada. We email back & forth weekly & it is so nice to have someone that understands the roller coaster we are on with Baby Girl. She lets me ramble & asks questions about things they are learning about thru the process. It is such a sweet friendship that I have really come to value recently.
Her family of 4 took a trip over Spring Break to see relatives in Idaho. The Grand Tetons are in the background of this photo. I LOVE that she sent me this picture! I pray that one day she becomes a "real life" friend & not just a friend from the blog world. Her family is considering a move to the Seattle area. Maybe a visit to the great state of Washington will be on the calendar in a few years!
