It's Just A Little Prick...

...I say "It's Just A Little Prick" as my blog post title because it's true. It didn't hurt that bad - - my tattoo that is! Yes >>> Can you believe it?! I recently visited "It's Just A Little Prick."  For some reason, Spring Break seems to be the time that I'm more rebellious or adventurous. Over 5 years ago during SB I got my nose pierced and this year I got a tattoo. Not sure what the deal is with the timing :) For over a year I had wanted a couple of Bible Verse references tattooed on my left wrist. I finally decided to make it happen! I decided to have one made out of my Dad's handwriting & the other made out of my Mom's handwriting. I wanted my Dad's in print because that is how I'm used to him writing & my mom's in cursive for the same reason.  I asked each of them to write these down for an upcoming "project." I'm sure it's not the "project" that they had in mind. Oops!
The tattoo artist kept asking if he could go over it to make it thicker & darker & I refused. I wanted to just have the basic & go back this summer for a touch-up. I'm going to have my parents re-write each of the verses & take it back in & see if it needs to be added to or altered in any way to have it looking as close as possible to each of their handwriting.  I am glad this much is complete. *Excuse the bad photo quality- - all were taken on my phone.
Here it is:

"Delight yourself in the Lord & He will give you the desires of your heart."
Psalm 37:4

"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."
James 1:27
