The Golden Gate Bridge (GGB) is something we all know of, yet few experience it. Little did we know, we were going to experience it like never before! While driving to Muir Woods, we drove on the GGB to get to our destination. We promised each other that if we could figure out directions, we would not just view it, but walk the GGB. Mission accomplished! On our way back to SF from enjoying The Redwoods, we randomly took an Exit near the Bridge. IT WAS THE RIGHT ONE! It was the exact Exit we needed to get to the parking area, viewing decks, souvenir shop, & walking/biking paths on the Bridge. This probably sounds silly but we were stoked. It was neat to do a little something *extra that we hadn't considered doing during all of our SF planning. We knew we would see it but never thought about getting this close! There will be a series of pics of the Bridge, driving on the Bridge, & walking on the Bridge. It is foggy near the Bay so you will notice that in some of the pics :)
In the final photo you will see Nathan making a call for "Crisis Counseling." Oh, wait, if Nathan chose to jump it would be for the thrill of it, not the crisis part of it. That'd be my dare-devil husband. Thankfully, he wasn't considering doing that but a pic was a must-have!
So, without further ado, I introduce you to the fabulous Golden Gate Bridge.
