*Update: Check back tomorrow for a "Golden Ticket" Giveaway!
As usual, our family was blessed with a wonderful Thanksgiving and consumed more calories than I care to share. After wrapping up Thanksgiving with two different traditional "Thanksgiving" meals, my hubby, sis, & brother-in-law did our little share of "Black Friday" shopping. We were at Wal-mart about 9:15, headed to the Tanger Outlet Mall afterwards & ended with a late night/early morning stop at Steak-n-Shake around 2:30 a.m. on Friday. *We literally just go for the fun of it! No major purchases- we got sheets, electrical tape, clothes, shoes, etc... nothing exciting! This was our 2nd year and we plan to make it a yearly tradition together. (Ignore the quality of the pics- all taken on my phone)
The following day (Saturday) I enjoyed a great day with the girls on Nathan's side of the family. I label us "The Bettis Babes." (My MIL's maiden name is Bettis.) We traveled to historic St. Charles, Missouri and had a great time shopping, eating, and chatting as usual.
If your family doesn't have an "Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Tradition" it is a must-have! Reddington found his elf, "Buddy," eating his chocolate & caramel covered popcorn after he was done with his bath one evening. He still talks about it, "Buddy eat popcorn, Mama?" I love having a 2 -almost 3- year old. He is so fun & is starting to get "Santa" and other fun Christmas traditions. Buddy has been up to all sorts of mischief, already, and we still have about 2 weeks until Christmas!
