This post will begin a series on our family vacation to Disney World which began about 4 p.m. on May 29th, our 10 year Wedding Anniversary.

The car was packed, cooler was stocked, house was secure, & we were ready to GO. When Nathan walked in the door from work about 3:30 he changed & we headed South. Our 1st stop was in Alabama. We headed in that direction only stopping for gas & dinner at Sonic before landing in one of my best friend's driveways at about 4:30 a.m.
We spent a little over 24 hours with Brett, Heather, Katelynn, & Emmalynn. We enjoyed chatting, a little sleeping, & a yummy meal at one of our favorites, Lamberts. We were also excited to see & hug Mama Sue's neck!
We departed early on Saturday, May 31st for Orlando. It was bittersweet to say goodbye after such a short visit with a lifelong friend. Literally. We met in Middle School & have stayed in touch ever since- even though her family moved back to Florida after 1 school year. We were in each other's weddings & she even surprised me at Milannah's Adoption Party. Oh, the memories. There are so many & I'm so thankful.
Next up: Orlando BOUND!
