Happy Thanksgiving Week!
A few weeks after Milannah's Adoption, we celebrated her! I chose to not do a huge 1st Birthday Bash & do an Adoption Party, instead. I'm so glad I did! We had a wonderful time seeing so many family & friends come out to support us & our girl. She got some unbelievable gifts which we did not anticipate at all. The "Cutie Pie" theme worked out perfectly! We served Lunch & I had some activities for the kids to do. Our Pastor, Pastor Doug, shared about Adoption & what it means to the Lord & as Christians. He did a wonderful job! We finished w/ a Cherry Pie Eating Contest which was SO FUN!
My bestie since 7th grade, Heather, surprised me from FLORIDA. She, along with her 2 girls, had made the trip. I was IN SHOCK. I will save that story for the next post. For now, enjoy!
I had some amazing help with the party from start to finish & couldn't have done it without the help!

I cannot believe how much your daughter looks like you! Different coloring, but identical faces. Crazy.
