The tomb is empty... He is risen! Happy Easter!
We're looking forward to celebrating our risen Savior at church today before heading to my In-Law's house.
And Jesus Christ our Lord was shown to be the Son of God when God powerfully raised him from the dead by means of the Holy Spirit. Through Christ, God has given us the privilege and authority to tell Gentiles everywhere what God has done for them, so that they will believe and obey him, bringing glory to his name. -Romans 1: 4-5
Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. -Romans 6: 8-11
Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. -John 11: 25-26
I made it my goal 1 day last week to come up with some recipes, projects, & ideas to help entertain my boy during our Spring Break (Friday, March 29- Sunday, April 7th). It didn't take me long to realize on our recent Snow Day that I have a busy 4 year old who is on the go from the time he gets up until the time he goes to bed. Reddington loves to help me cook & he adores anything I call a "project." For the first time, we tackled boiling eggs + egg dying together. Photos to come...We made delicious "Easter Bunny Bait" (popcorn, white chocolate, m &m's, pretzels) to leave out for the Easter Bunny last night... & it worked! The Easter Bunny did make it's way to our house!
Here are photos of a few other Projects I plan to complete this week with Reddington. Since I'm ready to turn my Easter decor/shelf into all Spring/Summer, I may use some of these projects as decor. I will do a Spring Break Round-Up post along with our Easter pictures soon... stay tuned!
