For months Nathan & I had been planning an "Adult Only" getaway to The Windy City to visit our friends, Ryan, Kristin, & pup, Bella. The weekend finally came & we took off on Saturday morning after Nathan returned from work & showered. The four of us spent a lot of time eating, shopping, eating some more, talking, & sleeping in. We dined on Antique Taco, deep dish pizza at Pequod's Pizzeria, & Cheesecake Factory. Definitely an A+ in the food department! I adored the decor at Antique Taco. It was straight from pinterest, I tell ya! (Tons more pics on their website.)
My friend, Caiti, watched the kids along with a little help from my sister. We are so thankful for caring friends & family so that we could enjoy a night away. We hope to visit, again, soon!!
The photo below is of Ryan & Kristin's place. They own the bottom floor of the building that you can see (Left side of the door) & the basement level. It is a 2 story place & called a "duplex down."
