I have some 'inspiration photos' to share of Reddington's new 'Big Boy Room'. These are via pinterest.com. I decided to go for it and share these now, even though the "reveal" won't be for a few more weeks. My deadline is Dec. 24th as it is going to be part of his Christmas. We realized a couple of months ago that he sleeps better in a regular bed vs. his crib. A couple of times he's slept in our bed for a nap or joined me when Nathan was at work & he sleeps a lot sounder for a longer period of time. Since he will be 3 in February, we knew the time had come! Thus, an idea to create this room for him as a Christmas gift was born!
We are doing an "outdoor" type theme, I suppose. I guess I could call it "Rustic Wilderness." I basically saw a few photos and wanted to incorporate what I saw plus a few other ideas of my own. In his room I would like to see:
*wallpaper
*a tent to read in
*a headboard made of sticks/branches
*some type of taxidermy
*grey walls
*gallery wall
*a welcoming place that my boy loves to play, read, sleep, & pray in
