Since we were leaving on this day (Sunday) we decided to load our vehicle before going downtown for a day of Cheesecake Factory, shopping, & viewing the Transformers 3 movie set. We discovered this upon our arrival to our car... Not a good start to the day!
Our window was broken out & our brand new gps was stolen. My car had $1600.00 worth of damage!

On to Cheesecake Factory!
While waiting for our cheesecake, R was getting impatient so Nathan took him out to walk around & be "free" for a bit!
Attempting to take pics on the stairs w/ the flowers resulted in Reddington's very 1st ER visit!
Since R had just eaten & the Dr's at Northwestern wanted to sedate him for the stitches, we walked around downtown for a couple of hours because he couldn't be sedated on a full stomach! Kristin & Ryan bought him Kermit to snuggle...

What a tropper! AFTER:
Our home physician, Dr. C, removed the stitches 8 days after the accident. This was rough on everyone because he was restrained in a "papoose" in order to do this! BEFORE:

We're thankful that the entire ordeal is over! We still LOVE Chicago & will be back to visit Ryan & Kristin SOON! :)
