...describes my Dad today! "Happy Birthday, DAD!" He is 59 years "young" today... He has lived the majority of his life being known as "Tatum & Megan's Dad" He has enjoyed every minute of it- just ask him. He is an incredible Father.
For close to 4 years he has also been known as "Papa" by his first grandson, his pride & joy, Maddix. He now has Ava & Reddington to "grandfather" and he does not disappoint. He is the first to get on the floor & play blocks, read stories, giggle with them, invite them to the Circus, sit on the John Deere tractors @ Rural King, whatever makes them happy, makes his heart happy, too. He loves to make his grandchildren smile. They have given him even more of a purpose in life---he is leaving a legacy. And that he has done so well. My dad & I are closer, now, than ever before. I can't imagine not having him: to call on my way to work (almost daily!), send a daily email w/ the weather report, or hear his motorcycle pull in our driveway unannounced. I love all of those qualities of my dad.
My parents have always been 100% supportive & that's one of the main things I will transfer to my own family. We are so blessed to have such loving & supportive parents in our lives who have shown us unconditional love.
