One month ago today, we were holding Reddington for the first time...
Reddington has changed our lives this past month---more than we ever thought possible. It's hard to understand loving another person this much! He is incredible.
Reddington is eating great and sleeping well. At night he sleeps between 3 & 6 hours in between feedings. He is doing well at being put to bed awake & falling asleep on his own; we are thankful for that! Some nights it takes a little longer for him to fall asleep than others but we know it will get better as he grows. We are not wishing any of this away! When friends & family talk about how much he's changed & how soon he'll be crawling, talking, etc we don't hesitate to say that we are savoring each moment & do not want him to grow too fast!

HoltFam3 has a fun weekend planned...Reddington has his "first day of school" tomorrow as I am taking him to Sullivan Middle School to meet the staff & cheer them on during the ISAT Staff Vs. Student Volleyball Game! We are going to see "He's Just Not That Into You" at the theatre Friday night. Saturday a few friends & my mom are hosting a "Welcome Reddington" Baby Shower & we have a costume party to celebrate a friend's 25th Birthday Saturday night. Sunday we are going to lunch with friends from Chicago after church & then pizza & bowling Sunday night. Goodness, we are going to need some much-needed rest on Monday after this busy weekend :-) The good thing is, I'll actually have some events to Blog about! Stay Tuned!
