After reading these two posts (here & here), I realized that I never posted on our swagger wagon aka mini van! We purchased it back at the end of July. The timing couldn't have been more perfect. We were given a trade-in quote that was more than what my Scion XB would bring on ebay; in addition, my parents were on vacation for a week = a spare vehicle to drive while mine was getting detailed & cleaned up. We are all IN LOVE with this vehicle. It makes traveling & simply getting in & out with two kiddos such a breeze. Nathan helped me with what to say to each of the car dealerships when I called. I refused to take the kids to a car lot and sit for hours during negotiations. I walked in the door at Bill Abbott Dealership in Monticello and left within an hour with the vehicle. I had probably talked to the salesman 6-8 times before I arrived and just needed to sign the papers. The price that we purchased it for was $12,000 less than the sticker price! We feel so blessed to be able to purchase a vehicle that will last us for years to come. We already have about 7,000 miles on it. That is proof of our need for a new vehicle about every 5 years. I drive quite a few highway miles on a daily basis & if we don't trade about every 5 years, the vehicle would be worth very little when we did! We are blessed! Enjoy our swag~
