Nathan & I ran the 5K portion of the Illinois Marathon in C-U on May 1st. There were 14, 286 runners involved between the 3 road races: 5K, Half-Marathon, & Full Marathon. Entering Memorial Stadium heading to the Finish Line was a huge adrenaline rush! I had a Personal Record of 38:20. Already looking foward to next year! I'm hoping to be 1 of 4 ladies on a "Relay Team" completing the Full Marathon.
